The Summer Hurdle Camp is designed for track athletes who compete, or would like to learn hurdle events.  Our goal is to give athletes a chance to work on improving their speed, strength, and technique during the off-season.  Camp sessions will include event specific drills, workouts and stations to improve Hurdle technique.This camp is the perfect opportunity for athletes to improve their hurdle skills, or learn how to hurdle without having to worry about preparing for competition.

The Guilderland Youth Track & Field program offers athletes the complete competitive track & field experience in a low pressure, friendly and extremely fun environment.  Youth athletes will get the opportunity to practice and compete in the events of their choice. Athletes will have the chance to try sprinting, jumping, throwing, hurdling and distance running events.The staff of experienced coaches will help each athlete find the events that are best suited for them. The coaches will also help each athlete improve their speed, endurance, agility and strength using engaging and exciting games, drill and workouts. Athletes will be encouraged to set goals and work towards achieving their goals in inter-squad track meets.
 
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM    Strength & Conditioning - Strength & Conditioning - TRACK ONLY
This summer long camp is designed to get athletes in great shape for the upcoming school year and upcoming sports seasons.  It will consist of a track workout in the evenings, followed by a life program designed for fitness and injury prevention.  Most nights will be a warm-up, stations, workout, cool down and stretch.  Some of the nights will have fun relays and races with various distances.

The Flight Camp is designed for track athletes who compete in sprint, hurdle, and jumping events.  Our goal is to give athletes a chance to work on improving their speed, strength, and technique during the off-season.  Camp sessions will include event specific drills, sprint workouts, stations to improve mobility and flexibility, and body weight strength training.  This camp is the perfect opportunity for athletes to improve their skills, or learn a new event, without having to worry about preparing for competition.
