Track and Field Flight Camp

The flight Camp is designed for track athletes who compete in sprint, hurdle, and jumping events. Our goal is to give athletes a chance to work on improving their speed, strength, and technique during the off-season. Camp sessions will include event specific drills, sprint workouts, stations to improve mobility and flexibility, and body weight strength training. This fall preseason camp is the perfect opportunity for athletes to improve their skills, or learn a new event, without having to worry about preparing for competition.
Instructor's Experience
Chris Scanlan: Chris is a P.E. teacher and a coach for the Guilderland Central School District. He has taught P.E. at both the high school and elementary levels. Chris is currently a P.E. teacher at Guilderland Elementary. Chris coaches Cross Country, Indoor Track and Girls' Varsity Outdoor Track at Guilderland High School. He has coached multiple Suburban Council Champions, Section 2 Champions, State medal winners, National medal winners, and All-Americans in the sprint and hurdle events.
