Join us for a fun-filled, two week Theater Summer Intensive where students bring a full musical to life - from audition to final bow! The full-day camp runs Monday - Friday for two weeks and gives participants the complete experience of rehearsing and performing a musical production.
Camp will begin with auditions on the first day, and no preparation is required as the students will be auditioned as part of camp activities. Everyone who participates will receive a role, with speaking parts available for all students who are interested.
This summer's production is Oliver! Jr., culminating in a final on-stage performance at the Guilderland High School Auditorium. Families and friends are invited to attend this free performance, which will take place on the last day of camp at 1:00 P.M.
This intensive is perfect for students who want to build confidence, collaborate with peers, and experience the excitement in a full musical, all in a supportive and engaging environment.
General Information
A $100 materials fee with be collected by the instructor on the first day of camp.
Some basic or light costume pieces may need to be provided by parents, with details shared during camp. Student should come prepared each day with a packed lunch, snacks, and a water bottle.

Instructor's Experience
Jacob Hernandez holds an MMed and a BM in Music Education.
He is certified iTheatrics method theater educator and has been teaching music in the Guilderland School District for the last 5 years.
Michele Snyder is a retired teacher with 20 years of directing school musicals.
