Get ready to squeeze, pinch, build, and create! Fine Motor Fun Camp is a playful, hands-on summer camp where kids strengthen their hands while having a blast. Each class kicks off with mindfulness exercises and fun gross motor activities to warm up both the mind and body, setting the stage for a day of focus, movement, and creativity. Campers will jump into hands-on stations and challenges designed to build strong fingers and hands for writing, cutting, coloring, and everyday tasks, all without it ever feeling like "work." From imaginative crafts to friendly games and teamwork activities, kids will move, laugh, and learn together in a supportive, social environment.
Every camper gets to design their very own Fine Motor Bag, packed with simple, playful activities they can take home and enjoy all summer long!

A $25 materials fee is due to the instructor on the first day of camp.

Instructor's Experience
Michelle Kiernozek is an occupational therapist, yoga and mindfulness teacher, and handwriting tutor who has worked with the Guilderland School District since 2017.
She loves helping kids build strong hands, calm minds, and confident spirits through fun, hands-on activities.
Michelle strives to create fun, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that build confidence and a sense of accomplishments by meeting each child where they are.
She incorporates mindfulness and regulation activities to help students feel prepared, successful, and ready to learn - whether it is through yoga, handwriting practice, or hands-on building exercises.
