Cooking is SEW much fun! Literacy will be incorporated into this fun, hands-on class as children COOK and SEW their way through popular book titles such as If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, Donut Chef, Becoming Boba, The Very Hungry Caterpillar At the Bakeshop, and Ice Cream Summer. Participants will leave camp with a personalized aprom, a "sweet" hand sewing project, and the ability to be more independent in the kitchen.

Campers will learn kitchen safety and sanitation procedures, equipment identification and use, measuring skills, math skills, recipe reading, how to thread a needle and tie a knot, and hand sew; using a running, overcast, and blanket stitch.
