Fun With Fabrics • Register • View Cart •

Lots of yarn.
In Fun with Fabrics, participants will design and make their own pillow, tee shirt and wall decoration. Participants will explore fleece and calico fabrics, create designs with fabric paints/markers and try their hand a some simple sewing. If you've taken this before, come on back! Each year your work will get more and more sophisticated, and its always fun to play around with different fabrics and designs!

  • Please bring a $15 fee for materials.
  • *Option to stay at Pine Bush Elementary for lunch if attending American Girls in the morning for session 1, or attending Drama Fun for Kids in the afternoon of session 2!*
  • Session 1 9:00-11:00AM - Bus Transportation available both to/from camp.
  • Session 2 12:00-2:00PM - Bus Transportation available to camp only - campers must be picked up at the end of
  • Registration is required for busing - see Transportation for Summer Camp program.

Instructor's Experience
  • Beth Whiteman has been a classroom teacher for 25 years in the Guilderland School District.
  • She currently teaches 5th grade, but has taught Kindergarten, First, Third and Enrichment as well.
  • Beth's hobbies include history, musical theater, and sewing.
  • Beth is a NYS certified teacher (Elementary and 6-12 social studies).
  • She has taught many previous summer camps for the Town of Guilderland, Sage College and Helderberg Workshops.
