This course is geared towards beginning/intermediate readers.
We are excited to offer a dynamic and engaging 2-hour reading program designed for students in grades K-1. During this interactive experience, students will immerse themselves in the joy of storytelling through a variety of hands-on activities.
General Information
- Each session will begin with a captivating read - aloud, where students will listen to and discuss a carefully selected story that sparks imagination and curiosity.
- Following the read - aloud, students will participate in a creative craft activity that ties into the theme of the story allowing them to bring elements of the tale to life through art and hands on learning.
- Additionally, students will have the opportunity to become young authors themselves by creating their own stories.
- Through guided writing and drawing activities, they will develop their storytelling skills, express their creativity, and gain confidence in their literacy abilities.
- Our program fosters a love for reading, strengthens comprehension skills, and encourages self- expression!
- All in a fun and supportive environment.
- A $15 materials fee is due to the instructor on the first day of class.
