Recess Adventure
Join us for Recess Adventures, a 3-week camp packed with exciting outdoor and indoor recess games, creative activities, and team challenges that will keep your kids active, engaged, and having fun all summer long!!

General
  • Location for Recess Adventure camp is Westmere Elementary School
  • Welcome to Recess Adventures! This camp is designed to provide a fun and active experience for kids using classic outdoor and indoor recess games.
  • With minimal materials required, the camp is affordable and accessible for all!
  • A $15 materials fee is due to the instructor on the first day of class.
  • Transportation- NOT AVAILABLE

Instructor's Experience
  • Camryn David has been teaching 5th grade at Guilderland School District for the past 4 years.
  • She was a camp counselor at the Saratoga YMCA for 7 years!
  • She is certified in CPR/first-aid.

Weekly Session Information
  • Session 1: 7/28-8/1 Time: 9am-11am
  • Theme: Classic Team Games.
  • Participate in activities such as, Ice Breakers, Relay Races, Partner challenges, Team-Building and Capture the Flag!
  • Friday- Recess Adventure Camp Wide Kickball Tournament!
  • Session 2: 8/4-8/8 Time: 9am-11am
  • Theme: Creative Play & Indoor Recess Games.
  • Participate in activities such as, Classic Indoor Board Games, DIY Game Design & Arts & Crafts, Talent Show Practice, Indoor Olympics!
  • Friday- Talent show, Freeze Dance or "The Cup Game"!
  • Session 3: 8/11-8/15 Time: 9am-11am
  • Theme: Recess Challenges & Active Games.
  • Participate in activities such as, Giant Chalk Hopscotch, Big Balloon Toss and Group Jump Rope, Soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, Pictionary, Telephone, Human pyramid building, simple athletic challenges that require team work!
  • Friday- Recess Game Extravaganza! Four Square, Freeze Tag, and Dodgeball.
