Who’s ready to start Kindergarten? This camp will be engaging, play based, and hands on fun!
At Camp Kindergarten, your child will learn or review the foundational skills that are needed to get your child ready for school in September. At Camp Kindergarten, we will read a variety of picture books and then your child will create projects and crafts to go along with the book's theme or message. The kids will also have time to play with letter and math games, toys, and strengthen their fine motor skills. As your child participates in small group, play based center type activities, they will be learning basic mathematics and early literacy skills and concepts. All of these engaging activities will also improve your child's social and language development, too. Your child may even meet a new friend or two while at Camp Kindergarten!

General Information
- *NOTE: LOCATION CHANGE - Camp will be held at Westmere Elementary School*
- Please provide your child with a snack and water bottle each day at camp.
- A $20 materials fee is due to the instructors on the first day of camp.
- Bus Transportation: AVAILABLE
- Registration is required for busing - see Transportation for Summer Camp program.
Instructor's Experience
- Heather Coupal is a Kindergarten teacher in Niskayuna, but previously taught at Guilderland Elementary School. She has been teaching elementary school (Kindergarten and Second Grade) for 13 years.
- Karra Makowski is a Kindergarten Teacher at Guilderland Elementary School. She has been teaching Kindergarten for 20 years. Karra has been teaching elementary aged students for 26 years!
