Bird Walk at the Community Gardens
This program will consist of a guided walk around the community garden to view birds in the various habitats found around the property.
We’ll use Ebird to keep track of what we see.
- Participants will have the opportunity to improve their bird identification skills. Please bring your binoculars. Other helpful materials include: a field guide, and either a notebook and pencil or a smartphone for recording sightings, observations, and/or questions.
- Other recommended equipment- bug spray, drinking water, sunscreen as needed, long light-colored pants to make ticks easier to see.
- This program is now open to youngsters with an adult in attendance - registration is required.
- Jeanette Roundy has 12 years of birding experience, and has been a volunteer for local bird counts for 8 years
