Come join the Guilderland Parks & Recreation and ARE Event Productions/Albany Running Exchange for a Snowshoe Clinic on Sunday, February 18th!
Snowshoes
This will be in conjunction with ARE's "Brave the Blizzard" Event - event's official website: https://www.areeventproductions.com/events/areep/btb/.

Day Of Details
  • Please park at the Chalet Pavilion parking lot at Tawasentha Park! Check in for the clinic will be at the pavilion.
  • We will have a variety of kids and adult sizes for participants to borrow.
  • Albany Running Exchange will have an instructor give participants some tips and tricks for walking or running in snowshoes - The instructional portion will be about 20 minutes.
  • For the rest of the time, you are welcome to snowshoe around Tawasentha Park!
  • Snowshoes will need to be returned to the Chalet Pavilion by 12pm.
  • Children under 12 must have an adult with them!
  • Registration is free! Please make sure to register so we have enough pairs for everyone.
  • Snowshoe rentals are $5 cash per set - Please pay the day of at check in!
