Dear Families,

For nearly 45 years, the Guilderland Parks & Recreation Department has offered exceptional programming that promotes fun, fitness and a wide variety of activities designed to enrich your child’s summer experience. Although it may be a little chilly, we are excited about summer.   Registration for all of our Town Summer Programs open at 12:01am on Saturday, April 1st!! Sign up for your favorite camps and try some of our new ones as well!

Tawasentha 1/2 Day Camp is back for another great summer! The program is half day starting Monday, June 26th and is offered to children entering Kindergarten through 8th grade. There will be six one-week sessions of regular camp, three two-week session of day camp with swim lessons and the day camp will end on Friday, August 4th. Camp will be from 8:00am to 12:00pm – a half hour time block at the beginning and end of each day is allotted for our pickup and drop off process.  The summer camp office is located at the Large Pavilion in Tawasentha Park. Besides the Tawasentha 1/2 Day Camp program, residents will have a variety of sports camps and enrichment camps from which to choose. The pool at Tawasentha Park will once again open for the summer and offer several weeks of the Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Program taught by certified lifeguards.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL SPORTS AND ENRICHMENT CAMPS AND THE TAWASENTHA 1/2 DAY CAMP WILL BE CLOSED ON TUESDAY, JULY 4th, 2023.
