Could you survive in the wild?

General Information
  • Learn survival skills such as navigation, shelter construction, hydration and more.
  • Be ready to handle whatever life throws at you!
  • Please note that this camp will include time outside in the wooded area located on school property (weather permitting) so please wear appropriate clothing/footwear.
  • Please bring a $3 materials fee on the first day of class.
  • Bus Transportation: AVAILABLE

Instructor's Experience
  • Joseph Winchester is a NYS certified teacher holding Certificates in Biology 7 - 12, General Science 7 - 12 and Literacy 5 - 12 Education.
  • He has worked as a science teacher at FMS for 16 years, having taught 7th and 8th grade science as well as Accelerated Regents Living Environment and Earth Science.
  • This will be his 15th year teaching summer camps through the T
