Learn how to design and build your own single-stage rockets while learning the fun-damentals of aeronautics through our STEM curriculum.  Campers will use problem-solving skills to design, create and launch two rockets using solid rocket fuel engines.

General Information
  • For Beginners:
  • Bring a snack and be prepared for highflying fun!
  • Campers will build two rockets and have an opportunity to launch both using solid rocket fuel engines.
  • For Advanced:
  • If you have taken our camp in the past, you will be able to take your rocket design to the next level, including the use of two-stage rocket engines.
  • This is sure to be a blast!
  • Bus Transportation: AVAILABLE
  • A $10 materials fee will be collected on the first day of each session.
  • Camp is Mon-Thurs

Instructor's Experience
  • Nell Ball is a teacher at Lynnwood Elementary with 27 years of teaching experience.
  • She holds a NYS K-6 Teaching Certification.
  • Matt Ball is a 6th grade teacher at Farnsworth Middle School with 22 years of teaching experience.
  • He holds a NYS K-6 Teaching Certification.
